To obtain work in the public relations industry, ideally in an environment that combines my passion of social media into a public relations career. I have always been extremely active in social media, but my participation and awareness of all aspects of the field increased after spending the summer as a social media intern. I am very eager to strengthen my public relations skills, and excited to learn from the professionals around me. I look forward to exploring how social media can be best utilized within the public relations and marketing fields.
Bella Bleu is a boutique located in Park Ridge, IL, which features couture bridal accessories. I worked with the owner to promote and strengthen the Bella Bleu brand by using different social media resources. I was responsible for running the company Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Wordpress blog. We creatively used these outlets to increase website and in-store business.

Campaign Intern
Judy Biggert for Congress (Summer 2012)
Worked to reelect Congresswoman Judy Biggert to the new 11th district in Illinois. While interning, I worked closely with the campaign staff on various projects with numerous personal responsibilities. In addition, I made cold calls to poll her new district in the Naperville Victory Center.
While at Scotty’s, I held several different positions. In addition to serving, I also worked directly with the catering manager to prepare and deliver orders. I also assisted the catering manager by directly market Scotty’s catering services to numerous local businesses.
